I agree. Anyone can go to hell in a hand basket because of the aging process. You can't take away just how freaking hot Mel Gibson used to be.

I think John C. Reilly is appealing.

I'm glad someone said William Devane so I don't have to image google him. He is so ugly. I can't imagine how he ever got work in a visual medium.

^Yeah, he's on my list of ugliest actors, too (see page 2 of this thread). Not only is he tremendously unattractive, physically, but also the fact that he's always "on", i.e., he always acts is very annoying. Did you see him on a Q&A session on MTV about his latest movie, the Oliver Stone effort "Word Trade Center"? He was so caught up in acting the "pseudo serious and involved" actor it made me sick. That voice, that choice of words, that constant frown on his brow, ugh. He also had the ugliest hairpiece (long and full) and about 3 inch heels on his boots!

Very unattractive package.

^^ I am so ashamed to say that I finally saw an episode of 'Black Adder' and discovered that Rowan Atkinson is not unattractive. Maybe it was the beard and the accent and the head full of thick dark hair. But, um, yeah, he was kinda cute.
