I often wonder how well those burqas would do in Muslim countries.. I mean sure, it hides you but also provides a dash of zest in an otherwise dreary, oppressed existence.

A lot of smart young women dumb themselves down so they don't get torn to shreds by other women. The lowest common denominator rules and you are more likely to be ridiculed and/or ostracised if your peer group thinks you are too smart instead of too dumb (check out some of the 'bitter, jealous fattie' threads here for proof). However, the dumbest of the Hollywood dumbs have built their 'careers' around the celebration of their ignorance which is actually kinda smart.

As for your gaming friend Tati, ANY female is going to intimidate a load of game nerds so she shouldn't take any negative comments too personally
