Peppercorn Ranch:
Basically, it's just ranch dressing with cracked Peppercorns. Is ranch dressing sold in the UK? I thought that was a strictly American thing.
Old Bay Seasoning:
It consists of paprika, celery salt, mustard, black and red pepper, allspice, nutmeg, ginger, etc. Mostly popular in the Mid-Atlantic region (Maryland, Virginia, etc).
Best seasoning for seafood EVER, but it goes great on other stuff too, but it has a very strong, distinctive flavor.
Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning (If you like your seafood Cajun style) is a close second, much more versatile than Old Bay, but it's spicy as hell because it has cayenne pepper as one of its main ingredients.

Do any white male actors date Ashley Green? Maybe we can finally figure out her ethnicity if we find out who dates her.

In the Maryland area (where I live), it's a given that anyone who prepares steamed crabs (or shrimp) for you is going to dump tons of this stuff on it. The celery salt flavor comes through very strongly, with the ginger/nutmeg/allspice as more of an aftertaste. I could swear there is some sugar mixed in, too, but maybe not. Anyway, in the DC/MD/VA area, it sometimes seems like Old Bay is the third condiment after salt and pepper.
I like Zatarain's so much better than Old Bay.

I'm not sure now, celery salt.... Mm!
Oh! I thought that you knew I used to live in SoCa!?!? But my friends tended to be Yankees so all this Southern stuff is new to me. Oh! Except New Orleans B-B-Q! I miss Sybil, she was such a cool lady.
I think there is someone on eBay that sells that Bay seasoning, so I'm going to get some. I'll report back!
It's called coriander!

LOOK HOW FRESH MY SUIT IS... NUFF SAID!
Around here coriander is used more for the dried seed of the plant and cilantro is used for the green leafy part even though it's the same plant.
