So happy she was fired from RHOBH. I do wish her luck & hope she learns from this.

I read that Sonja Morgan was getting fired from nyc housewives but she's still there.

I'll be pretty surprised if she is actually fired, as mentioned up-thread RHOBH is going to be pretty boring without her obnoxious, bullshit shenanigans.

Why? They can easily find another loon to replace her. They hire new people every series.

That's true but Brandi brings a very special brand of crazy that's hard to look away from. I tried to watch RHOOC and I just couldn't, it was so boring it brought tears to my eyes.

Oh yeah, I don't watch the others either but I don't watch RHOBH just because of Brandi.

It's funny that when you google her name, half the headlines are that she left the show and the other half are that she was kicked off.

Looks liek she has to move again. Jesus it must be stressful on her kids to never feel settled with her.

yeah, having to move so often would be pretty disruptive. but i know of several families like that here, the housing market is so crazy that rents are exhorbitant.

^^ It's one of the "joys" of being in the rental market - they get you to sign the lease with a manageable monthly rent, let you get settled, your kids in a school, making friends etc and then start the payment hikes that you struggle with so as not to disrupt your life and then end up having to move somewhere else to start the whole cycle again. I've known plenty of people even at the lower end of the market who have had to move several times because of this.

agree. but i'm not going to diss brandi for that. after all, there are so many other legitimate reasons to rip on her.

That's interesting. I'm in a different part of the country and landlords here don't increase the rent of a good tenant significantly, if at all, especially in the first couple of years, because it costs more to clean, prep and market the property if the tenant decides to move out rather than pay the increase. Now in my area the big apartment complexes offer specials to get people to select a unit in their complex over the competition.

here the rental market is HOT. uber hot. i know someone who was to look at a small cottage to rent, and the day she was to go look at it, it was already gone. someone else offered 30% more rent than they were asking.

When we lived in NY we moved every 12-14 months.
We didn't live in rent controlled apartments and our rents were raised every year, except for 1, and that was the year we had our 3rd child and needed a larger place.
