I think Brittany Murphy deserves an honorable mention, though she's more loopy than maliciously nuts.

Martha Stewart seems like a self-contained psycho. Charming but icily ruthless on the inside. She could cut a bitch if the situation called for it.
I love her though.

Judy Garland too..
Oh yes, she was majorly fucked up. How could I leave her off? Her pathos comes off as more sympathetic than women like Joan, Heather, Courtney, etc.

Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte...one of the greatest bitch movies of all time, apart from All About Eve. Bette is in both, naturally. hehe

Argghhhh!

Actually, (sez she, hands on hips) Bette wasn't the bitch in All About Eve. She was the diva with the heart of gold. The real bitch was Anne Baxter as the eponymous Eve (Harrington). So there! *flounces off*

Sorry Pen...ever since I saw Whatever Happened
To Baby Jane as a kid, I've been freaked out by
both these ladies. Bette was an amazing actress.

Wasn't Joan Crawford the one of whom Bette Davis said "She's slept with every MGM star except Lassie"?

I know, but her character is pretty bitchy all the same, lol. She's the "good" bitch. I saw the film three days ago for about the 20th time.

Bette Davis Centennial - Movies - New York Times

This is a good read about Bette from today's New York Times.

Good read PB
I remember seeing her on Johnny Carson and
thought she was an absolute loon. She seemed gross
and lonely. She seemed sad, yet so odd I couldn't feel for her.
