I was doing some research. Well wanted to know if Roseanne, had a myspace page. I didn't know she was a Scientologist, this was little shocking to me. I like her, her show. She cheers me up, If I have a bad day/bad time

ROSEANNE ROCKS !

Whether or not it's really her, I don't care. That was hilarious. I'm off to check the one that might be real. Roseanne rocks.

yea I agree. She is Jewish I remember. And on this one she is advertizing her shows and what not so it's more likely her IMO.

Grimm I worked with some people that got involved in Landmark Education - it was scary to watch the personality change in them. It wasn't good. It was every bit as bad as your partier friend that becomes born-again Christian overnight and you suddenly don't know them any more. One of them was our office manager and she promptly had a "motivational speaker" come to our office, mandatory meeting. Reminded me of a stupid song "your ad-libbed lines were well rehearsed" - very slick, very smooth. Had the feel of an old time revival meetin', getting everyone drawn in. I felt sick to my stomach.

Hope your friend at some point breaks out of it.

It's an evil cult.

Objectively: Scientology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Not so much objective, but still valid and extremly enlightening:

Scientology Kills

My Nine Lives in Scientology

Well, hey I didn't post that on myspace page of hers. That's what she said. Who knows...

Or maybe it could been someone pretending to be her, I know Roseanne is Jewish. But, geez why in the heck would she say Scientologist, if that's really her ?? Im confused.

Yeah, Landmark is pretty scary. I have a friend who has become heavily involved and i knew another guy who got completely into it. Several other friends have 'dabbled'. They get really aggressive. Also, there is the Sterling Men's groups and a sister group for women that a woman i work with is involved in--she invited me to a meeting. Eek.

I've lost a couple of friends over Landmark, one of whom insisted that my life was shit because I wasn't a part of it. After to listening to this off and on for weeks and doing my own research -- trust me, that's quite an eyeopener -- I told her it was a cult, a money-sucking, soul-destroying cult, and that I wanted no part of it. She disowned me. I heard recently she was fired from her job for harassing people into joining.

What's really scary is that there are whole companies -- Lululemon clothing for one -- that make it an unofficial condition of promotion.

Wowza, I had no idea. Can you tell me more? Someone I know had a temp job there and was telling me there is a culture to it, if you know what I mean. I'm gonna tell her about this! (But I'd like more details).

it drives me crazy that no one ever discusses why they left. I would love to know how they get so many people involved, and what drove the others away. I have always wondered about Scientology, not because i'd like to join up, but i wonder what the draw is.
