Hmmmm. Name is familiar, but I can't place the face. She sounds sexy, though.

No. I do like movies, especially the good ones usually come out during the Oscar-bait season.

Celebs I don't like:
Paris Hilton- for obvious reasons
Lindsay Lohan- She threw away any talent she had
Natalie Portman- She's a good actress but for some reason she annoys me and I can't put my finger on why.
Hilary Duff- She seems like a sweet girl but, IMHO, the poor dear can't act.
Tom Cruise- Can't act and, let's face it, is INSANE!
Wilmer Valderama- Good God is this man annoying, on screen and off.
Oprah/Dr. Phil- Ego with legs not to mention full of bull shit.
Eddie Murphy- His acting is ok but since the whole baby-daddy thing I just can't look at him
Orlnado Bloom- Not the best actor in the world, mind you I've only seen him in Pirates. But man alive is he purdy!
I'll think of more I'm sure...

I just feel that Johnny Depp is trying too hard to be different. Like, I can understand him trying to downplay his looks so he doesn't get typecast, which is smart, but I have to ask myself "Is he really that good?" Is he the successor to Brando? I say, no.
Also, he loses points for dissing America to a German newspaper. You know that story, that America is like pit-bull that barks and drools. Something like that. Anyway, much like those two cunts Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson, he was being negative towards America. And, honestly, I could care less if he wants to live in Paris. Hell, Chris Cornell lives in Paris and I love his music!

And I hate Oprah Winfrey. She is the biggest cunt on the planet and I don't understand why women, especially the old, crusty kind worship her? Didn't she whore herself back in her hometown and have several abortions?
In a word, she's a hypocrite.

It just doesn't work that way. It could take six weeks or six years, but you cannot give up if you're truly passionate about it. People do bring you down, but the thing is to not take them seriously.
It's funny. I want to do both, indie and mainstream. I want to do have the status/clout of Tom Hanks or Julia Roberts and be able to make my own films. I want complete control and final cut, but I can't do that unless I'm worth $20 million a picture. I have a very DIY approach to my acting/writing and vision on how my scripts should play out, which is why I want to direct and produce.

Well, in that case, maybe you shouldn't dismiss Warren Beatty as a person you "hate". He is often called one of the few "mainstream independents" in the business. He managed to get a multinational conglomerate to finance a movie about a communist and also get Murdoch to give him carte blanche for yet another blasting political satire, "Bulworth".....

Jessica Simpson
Jessica Alba
Mariah Carey
Paris Hilton (ok so I watched House of Wax, only because someone told me she gets killed in a freaking awesome way)
Jamie Foxx
Jim Carey

Yeah, but he loses points for being a humorless, homophobic prick, very much out of touch with what it takes to be a real actor and what films to make (Bulworth is a joke, a smart film, but way out of touch). He doesn't come close to Pacino, De Niro, or Hoffman, hell... even Jack Nicholson to a lesser extent, men of his acting generation. I'm not inspired by him as an actor, however....
I will say though, the dude has skills with women, and Reds is an impressive piece of work. In fact, Reds inspired two of my screenplays. So, basically, it boils down to what mood I'm in.

Just the name alone... Shia Lebeouf? HAHAHAHA! It's a laughable, ridiculous name. Definitely not a movie star's name. And his acting isn't impressive. I mean, c'mon, Transformers?????????
Is that the best he can do?

Oooh, you REALLY don't know him, do you? He's got a wicked, raw sense of
humor with great touches of self depriciation. Oh well, at least you recognize
the significance of Reds, that's a start.

I think that's good enough, with $152 million in first weeks sales I think that speaks for itself.
And he's been in 31 other movies btw, some of which were pretty good.

JOAQUIN PHOENIX?!?!?!
Kris, you're BLASPHEMING!!!!! Joaquin is wonderful!!!!
Jack Nicholson and Warren Beauty are legends....man, until I see your repetoire, I'm definately going to think you're drinking the Hater-aid.
**ok, you're actually talented and have written screenplays, and you're a frustrated artist. Your list of actors is also pretty on point. I don't even consider them actors. People in films now a days are usually just window dressing for words. But Joaquin Phoenix?! Did you NOT see Gladiator?!?!!?!?! Ugh, he's so good.
But the Johnny Depp thing, them's FIGHTING WORDS!!!!! HE's A-MAY-ZING EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kris, you better be hotter than NYC in August and make me gooyier than brie in a parisian heatwave so Diss the Almighty Son, Johnny Depp!**
;P My boss and friends think I'm crazy that I like JOhnny Depp that much, but I do....Good luck, Kris! You have the chutzpah to make it in Hollywood!
