I love Goopy, I can't help it. I bet she's actually pretty nice. She obviously cooks a lot for her family, and I think that's cute.

Mine would. I wouldn't call it shit. Whether or not you find Gwyneth pompous, that recipe sounds delicious!

I noticed that too. The haters really bother Gwyneth.

That wasn't a lot of shrimp was it? After I saw this, I went looking for recipes. I'm not going to make hers, but I found another really good one to make this weekend. Shrimp tacos and beer mmmmmmm.

My son loves beans and rice.

I want to slap her for perpetuating the myth that keeping avocado pits in your guacamole magically prevents oxidation.

My nephews eat beans and rice. But they would expect meat in their taco.

Didn't mean to offend. It just doesn't sound good to me.

No problem. I don't like seafood, so shrimp in anything sounds gross to me.

Bean tacos are pretty common. I used to make them quite often when my kids were little. Now I have a craving ...

Actually, I would prefer the black bean and rice taco with a nice amount of guacamole and salsa over the shrimp taco for the grown-ups. I guess that makes me a child! I usually prefer veggie meals but if I want meat in my tacos, I always choose chicken.

I grew up in a city where Fish Tacos and Shrimp Tacos were the unofficial "official" food. Ever since i moved down south, I miss getting a good seafood taco. This recipe does look good.

I have a great shrimp taco recipe here:
A Common Street Peddler by Eboni: Beer steamed shrimp tacos
Hustle, you probably can get larger shrimp for less down south. Anyway, my recipes are mostly southern cooking but since I live in Calif there are general recipes too.

Hope this isn't against the rules posting my blog link in the forums.

If shrimp is good enough for HER taco...
More niece has to eat that shit. She's been raised vegetarian. That's actually on of her favorite meals. I have no idea if it's good but she seems to love it.
