Well, his name is so famous now, I think people have gotten used to it, but when he first started out, ELVIS PRESLEY had a strange name for his time. No one had ever heard of anyone like him...seen anyone like him....or heard a name like 'Elvis' before. In the straight-laced 1950's where everyone was named 'Tom', 'Dick', 'Jack' and what not, this dude named 'Elvis' came onto the scene. That was a strange name back then....sort of still is....
