Christina Ricci made a comment about it, that all Marilyn Manson is, is a gimmick. And thats what he sells.
He does have a 'type' of woman. Missi, Rose McGowan, and Dita all look alike.

Remember that he's also been rumored to have been with Angelina (she says they are good friends) and he drew those pictures of her. She's most definitely "his type" as well. I'm sure they screwed and shot up together.

^For sure. Don't know if they slept together, but its very likely. Since Angelina wants to 'taste everyone in the world' and all.
Do you remember that blind item about the rock star and sex siren humanitarian that shot up together? NY Post let the cat out of the bag that Angelina visited Manson in LA.

does anyone else think this thread should be moved to the random talk section? It would be so much better if only members could see it. I want to hear more of Cali's stories and it would just be easier if this thread wasn't open to guests.

Well let's do whatever we must to hear more stuff.
Maybe we could just start a new thread in the random talk area.
Like a members only celeb rumors.

Yeah, they are, there was a segment on E one day where they were asking Dita who she'd rather be stranded on a deserted island with; Johnny or Brad Pitt, and she said 'Johnny depp, he's my husbands best friend so hopefully he'd forgive me if something sexual was to happen.. which it would'.
Johnny took Manson as his 'date' to the Blow premiere. (Although Dita was there too)

I have a few more tidbits:
- Common (the rapper / hip-hop artist) is amazingly gracious. Really polite and sweet and genuine, very easy to talk to and interested in getting to know the people who work for him. I've heard this from 2 different makeup artists who have worked with him. They just rave and rave about what a great person he is.
I have another story but I want to look into it before I post it.
Edit: I'll post it, I can't make sense of this. After some brief poking around, I think it may be right.
I also worked with someone who was recently working with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on their charity project to rebuild New Orleans. This person was furious about the situation in New Orleans and somewhat frustrated about the PR bullshit of Pitt's campaign there. This really surprised me - I thought he was doing a very noble thing! But the way it was told to me, this is actually a massive money-making and PR campaign for him / them. And I guess the project is very unfair and sketchy for the people who do chose to move back into New Orleans and into the houses he is building. Supposedly, they can't own the house that Pitt is building. If they chose to sell the house, all the money goes back into the foundation and they receive nothing. This person was really not impressed at all with them. I got the impression that Pitt thinks he is doing a noble thing and may not be aware of how the foundation is potentially screwing over the future residents.
The website: Make It Right 9
It appears that Pitt's organization is geared towards building the homes, and not towards encouraging home ownership. The foundation's website describes the loan process but I haven't found anything saying that the individuals own that home. Perhaps they are renting?
anyway, have a look at that, let me know what you think. I really want to believe that this is a positive project. I was bummed to hear about this.

This was fairly recently, after Pitt and the kids. I have no doubt that the blind item was about her, especially after the NY Post said she and Manson were together.

DAYUM.... And here I was, hoping that she's not really on drugs like everyone says she is. I guess it explains her weight loss.

I don't get it. So people who buy a home from Brad's foundation never really own it? That sucks. That's no deal. What a shady motherfucker he is, trying to make a huge profit off of victims of a natural disaster.

Habitat for Humanity has clauses with regard to the 'home owner' selling the home within a specified period of time (usually many years). Huge finanical penalties if they do. I agree with this because they are getting a subsidized home and it prevents unscrupulous people from profiting from others' gratis labour. Is Jimmy Carter a scammer too?

The loan process is for the mortgage - which most residents of the 9th ward would never be able to get on their own. Especially since most of them are still living in tents.
Please do lots of research before posting stuff like this. Charitable organizations live and die by their reputation.

I don't think Cali was making accusations. She even posted the site and asked for opinions.
Not to be rude, but there is a way to give more info and opinions without a being negative.Cali is a long time poster who gives us great inside info that she can get in trouble for.
Opinions are welcome,negativity is not.

Please do your research before posting such questionable accusations against a registered charity and its participants.

You know what? I was VERY CLEAR in my post, did you not read it? I said "i dont know about this, and i want to research it more.' I posted it because I wanted people more informed than I to validate / discuss it. Chill out on your venomous and condescending replies. You just piss me off, every single post I read from you.

I was editing the last sentence when you responded.
However, once again, I don't care what you think of me. I care only about opinions of people I respect. I visited the website - took all of three minutes to figure it out. Perhaps you could have done the same and spared us the post about Brad Pitt's maybe kinda sorta I-don't-know money-grubbing charity project.

I posted my opinion. I consider it to be very negative to post baseless accusations about a charity then invite members to offer their opinion. Sparkly's response showed she (and perhaps others who didn't post) bought it hook, line and sinker.
Forgot to mention, yes, I'm aware Cali posts info for which she can get into trouble. Especially about her former employer whose identity she confirmed in this thread. Shows an extreme lack of judgement and self-preservation, unfortunately.
