ok my issue with doctor phil is he had a show about a little girl who was getting molested by her weirdo father- and he stretched it into this dramatic 3 part episode with a whole lie detector test and everything, didn't blur/hide the girls face, and given Phil's training in the field of psychology he is well aware of how damaging this exposure will be to this child later on in life. He choose his own selfish desire for ratings over the well being of his guests (which he has done many, many times-this is just one example). He also plugs his books/products/anything he can find like.......every other show atleast. He's out for money, not for a want to help people. He knows damn well that someone with serious health issues (and the types he puts on his show) can't be helped in front of millions of people in one hour or less.

I agree that Dr. Phil is too much of a publicity whore, and has become sensationalist.
Most of his approach/technique is standard and acceptable, it's the rest of his antics that are offensive. He can't blame it all on short segments and necessary commercial breaks.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying...I meant that if she has got mental/emotional problems, it makes her more vulnerable to being preyed upon, not that she couldn't decide if a situation was inapproriate.

^^Agreed. That's why there is a board of ethics. Shrinks shouldn't be banging or otherwising engaging in overtly or covertly sexual behavior with their patients. It kind of breaks down (or maybe not?) the trust.

Went is def gay. he dated a friend of perez (i know we hate him). and Dominic is marrid with 5 kids, which doesnt prove he isnt gay, but most likely he isnt.
