I agree she needs to restore the cash flow, but how the hell can they mount a show with her? She's horribly out of shape, is existing in full-on party mode, and has no motivation to do otherwise. She hasn't even finished recording her next CD.

2 months is way too short notice for this sad sack to get it together.

I'm sort of ashamed to say it, but if Britney did do some sort of comeback concert, I would probably buy a ticket. I just love her music and she does put on great concerts. I think that it would be physically possible for her to get into shape and do it in two months, but I don't know if she has the will power. Her best bet would be to go on tour with her old songs and a few new ones thrown in, get everyone reacquainted with her music, and then announce the release of a new album.

I know someone who does the bookings for a very large concert venue and he SWEARS he is THIS CLOSE to signing Britney Spears for a March 2007 concert. I laughed in his face....it just isn't possible. Don't tours take MONTHS to get off the ground??? And the way she is flaking out...forget it.

That's what I was thinking Lynnie. I'd think she'd need to be in shape and regularly dancing before the rehearsals even started. Just think of the costumes and such that need to be made, the design of the show, sets, lighting, the promotion. Maybe a one or two time thing in Vegas, but not a national tour.

People with money to invest--risk, really--in Britney Spears should follow the blogs and read the tabloids to better acquaint themselves with what kind of mess they're dealing with. The pictures alone would make them change their minds. Never mind how her last tour turned out.

Britney's demand has just about fallen off the planet. When you get passed up for Paris Hilton, not once, but TWICE, life is not going well. What amazes me more is that anyone would want Paris Hilton anywhere NEAR them! When, when, when will she go away???

Pamela Anderson hasn't had her nose done. Lips, yes. Breasts, definately, many other things i'm sure but she's always had an adorable nose. She was amazing in her Tool time days aswell as Baywatch, why would she wanna fuck with that? She made everyone else around her look like shit, now she looks like shit.

My husband has the issue of Playboy from the first time she was in it, pre-surgery. She was beautiful, both her face and her figure. What was she thinking...did she dislike herself that much?

Jennifer Connelly moved into a house about 4 blocks away from me and my neighbor saw Paul on the porch with their kid. I will be on the lookout for their new adopted wee one.

Also in my neighborhood- Maggie Gyllenhal & Peter Sarsgaard, Steve Buscemi, and John Linnell of They Might Be Giants. I will up my celeb-snooping and see if there's any dirt to be had.

I'm an illustrator but believe me, our lives are 180 degrees different. My neighborhood in Brooklyn is wall to wall brownstones, these folks are buying them and fixing them up. It makes sense if you're a celebrity, you can hide.

Jennifer Connelly just bought a HUGE mansion off the park. It was in pretty bad shape, the stairs were literally falling into the ground. They fixed the foundation and put in a brand new sidewalk, brand new stairs- now the place looks great. So now they have a nice place for their new baby to come home to!

I'd like to see it but if I were Jennifer and hubby I'd be upset.. heck i'd like to see it even if it weren't connected to a celebrity. I love it when historical or just plain old buildings get restored.

in my town that's what everyone does...buys old homes and does them up looking beautiful!!! I think that's cool....they can make it their own and try and live some sort of normal life...
