Back off and pour some water on your holier-than-thou attitude. I will have you know that I spent a full 45 minutes on the site last night, and I downloaded their entire Financial PDF, as well as two other PDFs, looking for more information on what I was told. I was very hesitant to post what I did because I do hold that project in high regard. At the end of my investigation, I found NOTHING that invalidated what I was told.

In turn, I would ask you to spend more than 3 minutes on that website, and only respond when you have something of value to add to this discussion.

Hey guess what? Thats a personal attack. How about I push your favorite Report button for that?

*sigh*
Unfortunately since you have voiced your opinions of all of us all over the board, there's no use for middle ground here.It seems you've been quick to judge us of not earning respect without even knowing anyone.Negativity is truly in the eye of the beholder.Too bad.

You should have spent more time on the site. Perhaps done a little more research on independent sites before posting accusations against a charity from an anonymous accuser.

Habitat for Humanity operates the same way a Make It Right.

As for me figuring it out in three minutes while you couldn't in 45 minutes... not my problem.

Go for it. In my opinion, you did show a lack of judgement and self preservation by confirming the identity of your former employer on a gossip board.

You would be totally screwed if someone notified her.

I did look into independent sites, and found nothing contradictory. If you've earned such a gold star in internet research, why don't you link us to what you've found? Which I asked for in the ORIGINAL POSt, if you care to recall. Back up your smack-talk, s'il vous plaît.

Not so much. Everything I've said is proven fact. I'd say it to her face, and I have said as much.

^Yeah,it kind of does. It's in a public forum, and attacking members seems to be a pattern here.Remember when you didn't like what people said in the Britney thread and you grouped everyone as a whole?

Sorry, but I take my own advice.I don't personally attack people.

Yeah, I agree.

Toronto Girl, if you find this place so offensive and terrible, why do you keep posting? Its really easy to make us go away, just click in the upper left-hand corner and get over it.

Besides, I've staked a bit of MY personal identity here, and let people know what I do and who I am. But who are you? What makes you think you are so high and mighty and more informed than the rest of us?

The Do It Right site invites visitors to contact them with their questions. Contact them directly and ask all your questions. Before you do, read the the application, loan process and other forms - lots of info on there. Applicants are applying housing on land they owned prior to Hurricane Katrina.

And visit Habitat for Humanity's site and read up on what they do and their policies - you will see Do It Right is modelled after them.

I complained about a those who advocated suicide - that certainly isn't everyone. That was about four people. Go back and read it before considering posting inaccurate nonsense about me again.

None of that is articulated on the site, none of your points, including:
- that Make it Right is modeled after Habitat
- if the individuals are renting or buying.
- And how active and timely their response is to emails. FOR the record, the individual who told me all this said 'its all on their website, read the fine print, this scandal is all there in print.'
- And I found nothing on that site indicating that the 'applicants are applying for housing on land they owned prior to Hurricane Katrina.' If thats true, I found it nowhere on that site. That single sentence, if true, would have made me not post what I did.

Ah yes, jumping to conclusions again. I don't have a problem with Gossip Rocks. Over 7,000 members and I don't necessarily have a problem with particular members. However, I do find some things they say offensive and have commented on that TWICE. In Britney and here.

In my opinion it is unfortunate that you chose to post the remarks your friend made without determining the validity of them. Asking for opinions as to whether it was true didn't negate the impact of this rumour. Sparkly believed the accusation. I wonder who else believed it.

As for you telling off your former employer... yeah, okay. Whatever you say. In your October 24th post you wrote she is litigious and that you better stop discussing her. Me thinks she would be less than thrilled by your posts and I'm sure you know that anyone can sue anyone. You got the bucks to go up against her if she goes after your ass?

Your personal indentity stake on this board is foolhardy, in my opinion.

As for information and who knows what - It is up to you if you care enough to do the leg work and formulate your own opinion about this charity.

I think you like to fight, hence your repeated posting in a matter that didn't involve you. Carry on. I, however, am bored by your antics and have other threads to read. Toodles.

You have yet to prove how you're more right than what I was told, FIRSTHAND by an individual who had recently worked with both Pitt and Jolie. I've said again and again how I made every effort to verify what I was told. At this point, you've yet to link us to anything proving that what I was told is wrong.

The rest of your post, I'm ignoring, its personal attacks and you're being petty and pedantic. You're just looking to stir things up and I refuse to play along.

Visit Habitat for Humanity's site and read up on what they do and their policies. Make it Right does not talk about Habitat for Humanity on their site, but I recognize the business model.

Read the application form. Lots of info there. Applicants have to bring in proof of ownership of the lot for where they want their house built. The forms are where the real information is located.

With registered charities, there are very strict guidelines - especially after Enron. The board will receive renumeration, that's standard. However, no renumeration can exceed acceptable standards outlined by the gov't. Charities have annual audits and this one is so high profile, that if there is a problem it will end up on the front page of newspapers around the world by virtue of Brad's name.
