Great thread!! Olivier and Brando were gorgeous! I still think Warren is the best. I was so in love with him when I was a kid...after seeing Shampoo I liked Treat Williams at the same time...

My other favorite is Robert Wagner and Louis Jourdan.

Or please, how about my all time favorite heartthrob (and tragic late life plastic surgery victim)--Peter O'Toole.

    Peter O'Toole (Aug. 2, 1932)
Born in Ireland, raised in Leeds, England. O'Toole's childhood was dogged by ill
health, and although he could read by the age of three, he did not attend school
regularly until he was 11. His father was a bookie who taught his boy to drink:
much and from a young age on. Originally the handsome young man wanted to become
a reporter, but soon discovered the theater and made his stage debut at 17. Served
as a radioman in the Royal Navy for two years, then attended the Royal Academy of
Dramatic Arts (classmates included Albert Finney, Alan Bates and Richard Harris).
He spent several years on-stage at the Bristol Old Vic. In 1962, O'Toole was chosen
by director David Lean to play T.E. Lawrence in Lean's masterpiece Lawrence of Arabia.
The part made O'Toole an international superstar with a matching lifestyle of partying,
smoking and drinking. Friends with other notorious wild guys like Oliver Reed, Richard
Harris and ocassionaly Michael Caine, the stories of hellraising in the sixties and
seventies are many. His private life suffered from his wild ways: when he'd visited
one of his daughters in the hospital after she had an accident, she had to ask her
mother (actress Sian Philips) who the man had been who'd held her hand.....
In 1975 major abdominal surgery was needed to save his life ending his love affair
with alcohol, but the damage had already been done. Hard living had stripped the
handsome O'Toole of his beauty and had aged him before his time.
Today, he's survived all his drinking buddies and is still working because one thing
had remained throughout his turbulent life: his great acting talent.

Where's Alice? She has this weird thing for Peter O'Toole. Or am I making that up?

WTF happened to Peter O'Toole's eyes? Bad ps?

What's interesting about this thread is that most of these people both male and female looked their best around their early thirties-ish. (except for a few who crashed and burned early like Leo and Bridgitte Bardot.)

Am I glad that I'm living in the sunscreen era. These celebs started aging quickly after 30 with probably little to no skincare.

I was thinking that while looking at Brigitte Bardot's pictures.

In my skincare seminars, her pictures often get shown on the screen as an example of how badly the sun can damage and age your skin.

Studying Peter O'Toole's face over the years, I think that he's had a nose job
as well, next to the quite obvious bad eyelid correction.

I had a few ideas for more evolutions, but couldn't find childhood pictures of
the people I'd chosen. Keep checking this thread, though, I'm still on it!
