Re: Celebs without makeup
I personally prefer the more natural look. To me, there is nothing less attractive than a woman whose makeup blatantly announces that she is trying too hard.
Women should not be afraid to let their natural beauty shine. Whether that be skin blemishes or uneven/asymmetrical features. What’s beautiful about people is that we are all different. So why would anyone want to cover up their unique qualities with face paint that forces everyone to look like genetic copies of each other.

Re: Celebs without makeup
Makeup is made to enhance, not hide.

That has gotten really annoying, "I WAS THE WORLDS FIRST SUPERMODEL". I saw a doco about supermodels and they were saying that Janice didn't come up with the term 'SUPERMODEL' either. She seems to hang onto that title, when really she's a hasbeen.

Oprah doesn't look so terrible; she's no teen anymore, that's for sure. I think she looks older being thinner, but she was unhealthy being as heavy as she was. Hard to hit a happy medium, I suppose.

I think most of us look better with a little makeup that enhances our natural attributes and minimizes our flaws. I hate makeup masks, tho, and agree they give everyone a similar hard look.
Most of us don't look that great without a little help -- very few people look incredible when they just wake up or have been working out hard. Then again, beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.

Did she get veneers? Her teeth in the right pic look better aligned and whiter.

I put this in another thread -- it's a fast-motion video of what
a model goes through before her face goes up on a billboard.
The makeup touch-ups are phenomenal...and THEN there's
the photoshop, which not only changes the shape and position
of her eyes and eyebrows but lengthens her neck.
http://fadedyouth.blogspot.com/2006/...-it-takes.html
It's from Dove's "Real Beauty" campaign.
