Is this thread for real or a way to diss celebs? If it's for real then i don't think we will ever know who has 'herpes', 'HIV' or STDs or even any other illness unless they made it public.

Nope, I'm really speculating...I wasn't actually trying to diss anyone. Since so many celebs really seem to have herpes, I just thought that it was in the realm of possibility that at least some of the C-sections were due to STD complications. Not trying to trash anyone, just trying to look at it realistically is all.

I have herpes. I got it from the love of my live. Its how I found out that he was cheating on me. It's been a long three years since then and I always cringe whenever starting a new relationship because I don't know how they will take "the talk". I've been dumped a few times but mostly, men haven't cared. They just miss going down on me, but I tell them not nearly as much as I miss it! Three years of Valtrex and safe sex and I've only had 2 outbreaks and never given it to anyone. No more nasty talk, please. Its not fair unless these people aren't telling their prospective partners.

Sorry to hear that...it sucks that innocent people have to suffer because of a partner's dishonesty, but I'm glad things seem to be going alright for you.

Well you are obviously a good person who is willing to look out for the welfare of others..let's hope these celebs are the same way..though I have my doubts. Good luck and thanks for your openness and honesty.

I got herpes from a man who told me he'd only slept with his wife for 13 years. I guess she gave them to him, right? Right. I haven't had an outbreak in a while -- stress sometimes brings them on.

Something like half the adult population in North America has them. Nothing to be ashamed of.

People unententionally give STD everyday and even given their sworn word doesnt mean that they are being honest. It's unfortunate that innocent people contract these things and are not that educated about the risk of not being careful when choosing your partners today.

herpes isn't just gross bumps....it can cause encephalitis in newborns if the mother has it, and can lead to brain damage or in some cases death.

I found out I had them too when me and my husband first got together 9 years ago. We don't know who gave them to who, neither of us ever had an outbreak before that. He's only had 1 or 2 since then but mine come on easily with stress or when I get my period and it's horrible unless I use Zovirax. I was told that if I had an outbreak when I had my kids it was c-sect. time but I was lucky. BTW- we can joke about it with each other and bust balls about who gave it to who since we really don't know.
