I don't think Britney's a bad Mum, she's just inexperienced. And a little dumb, OK very dumb.

I'm only 18 and have had little to no experience with babies but I would definitely not do any of the shit she's done like having him on my knee while I drive, wearing long jeans and high heels to carry him, blaming gravity for him falling out of his chair (I'm not saying it was her fault but she didn't need to go all kabalalala on us)

I think if she had got with a more responsible man than K Fed, he could have balanced it out and taught her a few things. Maybe she thought that K Fed, being the serial daddy would be responsible and have some tips on what to do.

I do think she loves SPF and certainly wants the best for him, she just needs parenting classes or something. From what I've heard being a Mum isn't easy but she has more than enough money to teach herself atleast the basics.

I do think she had brought everything on herself. Her main mistake was marrying that loser. I just see her as a little girl in a woman's body and she's grew up way too fast so she's just not ready for parenthood yet.

Not as many people are eager to get into someone's business as most people think. I remember when I was younger there was a girl at school who everyone knew was getting beaten at home...it went on for a long time and finally someone (school, I think) informed human services. They did the obligatory visit and proclaimed all was well. A few months later they found her dead body in a field. Her mother and father were both charged with murder and spent years in prison.

Honestly I don't see one thing that she has done for her child to be taken. The driving with him in her lap was the closest she had come IMO, but hopefully that was the only time she had done it. Just like Stacie said most 'normal' people have had some silly but serious accidents, but they are just that--accidents. I don't think even someone as dumb as Britney would put her child in danger intentionally and I certainly don't think she would ever abuse him...

I hope she ends up floating face down in a river with SP steering her by the ponytail.

She won't last long in the Mississippi, the gators and the current would wreak havoc on her body.

I don't wish her dead because she's a popstar.

I wish her dead because she has no talent coupled with the intelligence of raisin bread.

Gene pool. Bleach.

No shit! When I was her age I was working on my post grad degree, working and raising my 8 year old daughter as a single mom without dropping her or letting her ride around without a seat belt on.

But the mistakes she makes are just so retarded, like she thinks she's above actually reading up on the stuff that other parents read up on in order to be prepared. She just doesn't seem to take it seriously at all, it's like she has a puppy or something. Did anyone else see the spoof on the Showbiz show of Britney driving with SP in the back? It was freaking hilarious.

Brit on the other hand, had on heels, pants to long, a drink in the other hand. I don't even think a drop of that drink hit the ground. Can't say as much for Cheeto's hat.
I think I'd react the same way, I'd drop the other instead of my baby and I wouldn't be carrying something that could shatter and cut my baby if I ever fell and dropped the bebe by accident. Again that's just common sense, you shouldn't carry anything sharp/potentially sharp while holding a child. If Brit was so thirsty she had to have a drink on the other hand, why not use a plastic cup? Is that so hard...?

This is something else about her that bugs me. Why must she be holding a beverage all the time? Do any other celebrities do this? I can't think of any who do.

The troll twins, uh, Olsen twins (or twin, the really scary midget one) come to mind with their endless Starbucks photos..... and didn't Katie "dimwit" Holmes spend the last two years, uhm, months of her "pregnancy" permanently getting coffee, too?
