Something I noticed about Britney Spears

if she isn't in a music video, or doing an interview, etc, she does not care about her appearance at all. In candids, her hair looks like she didn't even attempt to brush or comb it, and her clothes look homely. She's been that way for a loong time though. I understand her not wanting to look like a supermodel all the time, but she really pushes it

She probably just doesn't give a shit if she's not doing publicity. Like, nobody dresses for going to work when they're vegging at home on a weekend. I sure don't "dress" for Walmart! lol

I think she's functionally retarded. She can be made to look presentable by a team of tamers, but on her own she's a fucking mess because she just doesn't know any better.

I think it's her way of saying eff you to the paps. She's been harrassed to the point of insanity by them, literally, and were I her I could totally understand why she wouldn't want to give them decent photos. It might be counter-productive but it might be the only tactic she has to use. Kind of like how Nicole Richie and her SO would put on the same exact clothes everyday when they would take their kid to the park, so all the photos the paps would take always looked like they were from the same day. LOL.

Ah - Brit and the paps have a co-dependant relationship.

And she looks like she can't even manage basic hygine.

She doesn't need to fix up for everyday, but she could at least take a minute to brush that craptacular weave that she insists on keeping, & put on a bra. If she can't or won't maintain the "hair", then she should cut it off to something she can manage. I liked the little bob she had right after her & K-Fed split. It was cute.

If she paid people to make her look like she does in her music videos or at appearances she'd go broke. It takes a lot of work and money to make her look as good as she does at special events. Put it to you this way: if she didn't HAVE to clean up for her public she'd look like skanky roadkill 24/7.

I don't dress for Walmart either but I at least get clean and dressed, you know the simple things, like brushing my hair. If she can't handle things like that, she needs to up the hours for the handlers.

The thing about Britney is she's lazier than she is vain because no one who cared about their looks would leave the front door looking the way she does. She's always had a sloppy look when she wasn't in the spotlight.
