She was gorgeous, one of the prettiest actresses ever.
Marilyn would have aged horribly as well. Both of them had their addictions.....

she was very beautiful but to me she always looked older/more mature for her age. In the first pic she looks older than 28.

I think that is a huge overstatement to say about anyone.
There were several other actresses/entertainers who were equally as beautiful but were not as popular as Elizabeth.

And IMO, there is no other actress/entertainer on par with her in her prime.

Liz has done a lot of hard living and it shows, but in her day she was a stunner. Still is, in my opinion.
