RIP Aaliyah. I get told I look like her when I have a tan. I also get told I look like Eva Longoria though and IMO (and probably everyone elses) Aaliyah is waaaaaaay more attractive than Eva!!

Gorgeous young woman. I remember when she came out the same time as Brandy and Monica. I always knew she possessed great talent along with her sultry beauty. It's really sad she died so young.

I'm sorry but she never impressed me. I'm sure she was a wonderful, good, decent person but I never "got" Aaliyah. I liked her early music -- especially the dance tunes, but her later work was weak. I didn't find her attractive at all -- she has a horsey face and her hair was obviously a weave. She was supposed to be this sex goddess but it was all hype to me -- she just wasn't pretty enough.

This is probably just a rumor but i heard at the imdb boards that megan good is going to be playing Aaliyah in a movie about her life.
