Wow it's pretty obvious that DJ is the dad. But her first
hubby was gorgeous. Mel sure looked ahelluva lot

Wow, there's no mistaking his resemblance to Don Johnson. He has none of Steven Bauer's cuban looks AT ALL...

But actually, Melanie was with Don Johnson before AND after Steven Bauer. She was married to him twice. And apparently they never really lost touch.

Okay, I'm red in the face now. I guess I could've known since
Janet Charlton is more often wrong than right. But my excuse is
that I didn't know Don Johnson had another kid with Patti D'arbanville,
a son called Jesse.
Somebody called Charlton out on this on her site. So, apparently the
guy is NOT Bauer's son Alexander, but indeed Johnson's son Jesse,
which would explain the resemblance, hehe.

Now, we still gotta find a pic of that mysterious Alexander Bauer!

Edit: yep, looking at this 1999 pic of Mel with Alexander Bauer, it
definitely looks like Charlton jumped the gun again!

Well, it took her a day and a half, but Janet Charlton has finally
added the most minimalist correction on her site, but no apology
which I think would be the least she could offer to the people involved:
