Default Deluxe movie theatre

Would you pay $35 to see a movie in a fancy schmancy theater?
Well, some biz investors think that some of you will!
A group that includes the Retirement Systems of Alabama pension fund are sinking $200 million to build 50 luxury movie theaters across the United States over the next five years.
The first two theaters will open up outside of Chicago and Seattle.
Each complex will sport theaters featuring 40 reclining armchair seats with footrests, digital projection and the capability to screen 2-D and 3-D movies, as well as a lounge and bar serving cocktails and appetizers, a concierge service and valet parking.
Is this all really worth $35, though?!
Theaters make their money on concessions so the high priced stuff they'll be peddling - fancy food like sushi- is what industry experts are assuming will make those investors bank. So you'd have to pay inflated food prices ON TOP of the $35 ticket!

I effing love this idea!!! I would go there in a heartbeat. TBH, going to the movie theatre is expensive, but receiving this treatment would be worth it.

I paid 18 bucks to see the Hannah Montana movie, so yes this would be worth the money.

If what they're trying to do is keep annoying-ass teenagers and other low-class assholes from ruining the movie experience, then they also need to make an age restriction--say, no asshats under 21 or maybe even 25. And strict rules about noise/disruptions during the move. Maybe even a dress code? Cause you know spoiled teens can easily come up with $35 from mom and dad and think nothing of spending it on a movie.

Hey, I'd do it in a heartbeat. As B. said, if you can make it a more "adult" experience by keeping braindead kids outta the place and serve a mature fare at the concession, I'd be more than willing to take in a movie.

Hey now..... not all of us under 25 partake in asshattery.

I know, and it's not fair, but you gotta start somewhere in the quest to weed out asshattery. And sad part is assholes would probably still get in and ruin your movie.
