Sure, the show has been lampooned in Meet the Spartans and has been name-checked on other TV shows, but now that Betty Suarez has been turned into a doll by Madame Alexander, the quest for world domination is complete! Outfitted with her signature braces, glasses and Guadalajara poncho, she (it?) is a perfect representation of the character America Ferrera made iconic. Sadly, you’ll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on this Betty — the 18" and 8" versions don't hit the streets until May, giving Barbie just a few more months at the top of the doll heap.
