How long will Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stay married?

Tom Cruise dumped Nicole Kidman just after 10 years of marriage, and his attorneys pulled strings to get the actual date of marriage backdated so that he wouldn't have to pay Nicole Kidman more money (due to the mininum 10-yr. law regarding long-term marriages).

Do you think Tom Cruise will dump Katie Holmes at the 10-yr. mark as well? Or will she bolt before then? A lot could happen in the next 9 yrs and 20-odd days. Use your imaginations!

I think she's too submissive to put up a fight.. you saw how estranged she was with her family for quite a while there.. things still seem pretty strained.

If she's willing to give up her Catholic upbringing, spite her family and friends, buy into Scientology, and take any part in the media circus that was TomKat, I doubt she'll put up much of a fight to divorce him.

He seems like he lets her do the mom thing, she certainily gets to shop alot, and as long as she keeps up his facade of normalcy, she's living the good life.

So, my guess is they wont split up anytime soon, if at all.

hmmm, the reason I thought of this poll was because of that silly "news" item about Katie being heartbroken over losing that role... of course it could also be Scieno spin to generate sympathy for her.

As for my guess I'll say one more kid and 8 years total. Unless she wigs out first, which is possible.

Yeah, she has a great lifestyle and she knows it. No way would she have been able to live like this without Tom. She's probably hoping that when they divorce, her career will take off like Nicole's did. In the meantime, she's enjoying traveling, shopping and raising her daughter. I give it til just under the 10 year mark and possibly another kid.

If she WAKES UP and goes into witness protection to get away from the Co$ hitsquads I'll give it another couple of years. Otherwise, she's doomed for the rest of her life.

I can see her COMPLETELY flipping out over being with Tom and his weird ass ways, she tries to escape, and, with the power of $cientology, we just never see nor hear from her again. And we'll know why. It sounds grim, but that's just how I see it. I'll predict (lolz I psychic) that to happen in....two years.

True! I am still surprised the CO$ did not go after Nicole Kidman after the divorce.

It was last a very long time - probably 10 years. Katie seems to be the passive type; she'll put up with Tom's controlling ways (that's how he seems to me anyway) for a very long time.
