Where the hell is Nicole Richie?

With pregnancy rumors plaguing the pin-thin star, all I can do is wonder: Where the hell is she?
She was last publicly spotted on June 19th at an LA courthouse with her lawyers, where she announced she would fight the DUI charge that stemmed from the December 06 incident.
Is she laying low due to her legal problems?
Is she hiding because she's pregnant?
Or is she simply playing with the paparazzi and generating more media attention by keeping out of sight?

Mind you, this is the girl that Paris Hilton called '[her] sister' in the Larry King interview earlier this week. She hasn't gone to visit Paris at all since her incarceration and subsequent release.. so you gotta wonder: what's she up to?

I 100% do not believe that woman is healthy enough to concieve a child.

With that said, I think that she's laying low because of her legal issues. She'll probably start toting around a Bible and be back in the public eye in no time.

According to Ted Casablanca of E!'s Awful Truth, he's hearing it's true she's pregnant. Amazing.

And since Nicole Richie’s been absent, pretty much, and seen going to the doc's office, everybody’s been gossing and wondering if she’s preggers or not. No word so far from official Camp Richie à la the spokespeeps, but I’m hearing from one of N.R.’s tightest buds (think rich, horribly mannered and not exactly a catch) that the superskinny sasser is, indeed, preggers.

I'm still waiting for the announcement, but it really does give me pause that Ted is confirming the rumors, since he's had a no-tell policy on pregnancies for a while due to the grief an unexpected miscarriage can cause. But still, who knows...
