I don't think it's that odd. Afterall, they've both lost children so they relate to one another.

That's the feeling i get as well. There's something just off about the whole thing, but i can't quite verbalize what it is. Creeps me out though.

(No, i dont wish to get into a whodunnit jonbenet discussion but i do believe that man houses ALOT of guilt- whether he did it, or his wife did it, or his son did it, and he helped with the cover up)

Both had to contend with stark tragedy under the public eye. They had a lot in common. Wonder how they met? I would think they deserve some happiness.

^ITA. Marriages don't usually survive something like this, and I'm not surprised she's divorced from Natalee's stepfather. It was only a matter of time. If these two are attracted to each other and can make a go of it, I say hey what the hey? They're both politically active on this issue aren't they? That may be part of the glue beyond initial attraction.

I believe hearing that she was in the middle of a divorce when Natalee disappeared, and when she was in the Bahamas the guys she was with was her boyfriend.

Ahhhh. Hm. Well guess boyfriend bailed too. The whole thing is nuts. I don't believe I could survive that happening, but I've survived a lot of other hellacious things so maybe I could. I hope for Natalee's sake she's dead, because it would be horrible to be a sex slave in some remote place where no one could ever find her.
