T.V. stars that should keep away from the big screen...
Ok I really feel there are some stars that should never be allowed to make movies, for instance
Jennifer Anniston ( can't act same expression and always seems to be channeling Rachel for some reason.
Sarah J. Parker ( not versatile quite boring )
Debra Messing ( trained in acting but still is a flop)
Mathew Perry....

Re: T.V. stars that should keep away from the big screen...
Oh, gosh, any number in the throng of soap stars. How many of them have gotten too big for their britches & decided to ditch their meal ticket in order to be a movie star, only to crash & BURN?
Even Susan Lucci, the Goddess of Soaps, has sense enough to stick to tv movies.
Josh Duhamel, on the other hand.....I was crushed when he left All My Children because I knew he would make it big & would never be back. His body will never be found.
Who was that red-headed guy who showed his butt on his tv drama? Caruso or something? There's a lesson for ya.

I don't think Dylan McDermott should be in movies. He tried to go all scruffy and badass in Wonderland and Party Monster and ended up looking ridiculous. I'm not a fan of David Duchovny in film either, he sucked in Zoolander and was totally outshined by Orlando Jones and Seann William Scott in Evolution.

I like Matthew Perry, but he basically just played Chandler in The Whole Nine Yards, and the sequel. Jennifer Aniston was terrific in the Good Girl, and nothing like her Rachel character. Ellen DeGeneres pretty much plays herself, but at least she's funny.

What...you'll think she's ugly too?
Actually, steps off stage - spotlights hits face.
I don't find Janiston that ugly per say, she's quite attractive sometimes. But sometimes, I gotta just give in to peer pressure and say what everyone else is saying. I smoke cigarettes and drink beer too. If my friends jumped off a cliff...well. That's for another monologueeeeee.

Wasn't there an episode of South Park where Kyle's little brother has to do an impression of David Caruso's career? Pretty tragic stuff.
I think Jennifer Aniston did a decent job in The Good Girl, but I'm not convinced she's a marvelous actress. And I agree - she can be hot, but only sometimes.

Most of the 7th Heaven cast, with the exception of Jessica Biel (Mary) who had enough sense to quit while she was ahead and is relatively talented. The other ones just annoy the shit out of me. Lucy is probably the worst.

By no means! There are a very few women in (Hollywood) film that I would consider marvelous actors. My point was to refute the statement that she can't act.

I sooo agree. Arron Spelling likes to cast ugly ducklings for some reason and make them look like virginal princess all good doers.

All of those SNL movies featuring Adam Sandler, Dana Carvey,
the brothers at the Roxbury, etc. They were so bad you've forgotten them.

Re: T.V. stars that should keep away from the big screen...
i have to disagree about Adam Sandler...he's made some very funny movies imo. i dunno theyre probably just really funny to me cuz i'm still a brat
and about aaron spelling casting ugly ducklings and making them virginal princesses...he's making the daughters he never had...well at least the virginal princess part. Tori has the ugly duckling part down pat.

Re: T.V. stars that should keep away from the big screen...
I would have included Pauly Shore,
but nobody considers him a 'star'
in any sense of the word.
