Sitting here bored out of my brains (i really should be in bed) so I decided to put this thread together (sweet old memories, back to the time I was a carefree child with no responsibilities arrrrrh)

Im not sure whether this has been done before, if it has im sorry.

Remember Jonathan Brandis? I had a massive crush on this dude when I was like 6 or 7! So sad, apparently he killed himself

Remember the show Punky Brewster? (dont laugh. i used to love that show as a kid) The chick that played Punky was Soleil Moon Frye (weird name)

I respect her as a neuroscience doctoral candidate much more than I would as a child star trying to hang on to non-existent cuteness. I applaud her for being herself. In fact, imagine the self-confidence and self-esteem it would take to show up and happily present yourself in that world for the cameras when your physical appearance is more like intellectual Jewish mother hen than Hollywood bombshell. Go, Mayim!!
