I really liked Howard Stern's first book. But, lord, I despised him when his radio program was on late t.v.

Definitely love the show, but not necessarily Howard himself. I do like him though and think he gets a bad rap. I like that he readily admits all of his faults and insecurities and I enjoy the dynamic of him, Artie, Robin, Fred, Baba Booey, Richard, and Sal. That's why I listen. That, and the celebrity interviews are pretty good. I can do without the stupid Sybian and the porn stuff. Does nothing for me and I usually turn the station if they're just talking to some random whore.

I like him when he interviews celebrities, but when he gets a porn star on or come playmate, all he talks about is how he wants to see them naked, which bores me.

I think he is absolutely hilarious on his take on social issues, and I do like his regular celebrities. But I tune out when the talk turns really sexual or if random skanks are on.

I agree. I can't stand when he has porn stars on (not that i"m against porn)
I love the Johnny Depp interview. Johnny has a great sense of humor and he was very open.
