I like Rachel Ray, I think she's a genuinely good person. Although yes, at times her optimistic attitude and freakishly permanent smile do get rather irritating. She strikes me as the type of girl who snorts when she laughs.

I can only take so much yip-yap on morning tv: Rachel Ray, The View, Kelly Ripa.... at least Martha doesn't yip-yap - quite the opposite - but I don't watch her either. I keep the sound turned down on all those shows until what I want to see is actually on.

I don't find her annoying because she's from my area so I kind of feel I have an obligation to like her. I do however, find that she's terrible at interviewing and I think her show would be SO much better if she either:
A: Cooked WITHOUT the celebrities in her kitchen. They're always just standing there all...la la la, and she's talking to herself and when she asks them a question they're never listening to her so she has to repeat herself. The whole thing is awkward.
OR
B: Have the celebrities cook. Have them bring in their favorite recipies to cook with her in the backseat.
Eitherway something needs to be done about the cooking session of that show so that it's no longer the awkard moment of the hour.
