Yep. I don't know why they have Latino as a "race" in the US. People from Latin American, even if they are purely of German descent (i.e.), are Latinos? In the case of Hispanics, many are bi-racial (a mixture of indians and Europeans), but many descend only from Spaniards or have other European mixture. So you're right: caucasian as well.
I'm half Italian, half Iberian. The Italian side has Germanic and Mediterranean influence, but mostly the first. Caucasian. My blonde and blue-eyed sisters would hardly pass as "Latinas" just because they were born in Latin America.
The whole "race" thing should be taken out of socio-economic research forms. Most people are predominantly something, but pure? Hardly. Plus, what does that make of a birracial person? Two checks on the race list? Stupid as can be, still classifying people by "race".
