LOS ANGELES - Nicolas Cage is leaving Bel-Air. The actor has put his home in the tony community on the market for $35 million.
He bought the seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom spread eight years ago for a mere $7 million.
The 11,000-square-foot Tudor-style home sits on an acre just above Sunset Blvd. It has a two-story entrance, a front yard fountain, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and a two-bedroom guest house.
Singer Tom Jones owned the home for 20 years before Cage, and before that it belonged to crooner Dean Martin.
Home values in the area have increased 90 percent since Cage bought the place in 1998, according to DataQuick Information Systems.
