I think it's BO-dee. Jenna Elfman's husband's name is Bodhi and that's how she says it.

Ohhh you're fucking kidding me!
Are they nuts.
Jerry Seinfeld; shepherd; how awful.
I know he joked about naming babies weird names on his show, but hes actually gone and done it in real life and set up the kid for many a playground beating.

Some of the names are awful, but some of the unique names aren't so bad. I like unique versus all of the popular names that are issued out here in SoCal. That being said...Banjo and Moxie Crimfighter are awful.

My child got off lightly with Gabriel .... even though my dad was appalled at the time of his birth!
Digressing slightly, I spent several years working for a matrimonial lawyer ... one of the best name's I ever came across, a child called ... wait for it ... Pagan .... but thats not the best bit. The child's surname was Priest ... Pagan Priest ... still makes me chuckle. I hope she changed it!

^^ I like those two as well, though I wouldn't choose them for my own. I've known a lot of Shepherds in my time, I don't find it odd - though they were more often than not spelled "Sheppard". Some of the others though - shudder.
