I was just flicking through a magazine and there was a quote by Scarlett Johansson. She was pissed off in the Island because director Michael Bay made her wear a bra in bed, she wanted to go topless.

"No one wears a bra to bed- except maybe french women".

What the hell does she mean by that? I dont get it.

I remember hearing Marilyn Monroe wore bra to bed.
I've also heard a woman on the radio saying she wears a bra 24/7 and for her age (I think she was in her 50's) her boobs looked like a 20 year old's cuz they were never subjected to the forces of gravity by going bra-less.
Because of that I also used to wear bra to bed but lately I've felt kinda constricted so I stopped doing it.

Sounds kinda stupid of Scarlett to attribute this to only the French...it's not about someone's nationality.

Yeah, ppl think that wearing a bra all the time even when you sleep keeps your breasts in gr8 condition (some ppl think the opposite actually) but it's never been attributed to the french as far as I know.
but then again she really does say a whole lot of meaningless stuff.

Scarlett really has a blah face. Without her huge boobs and balloon lips she wouldn't get all this attention.

I wear a bra 24/7 and I'm certainly not French. I'm afraid of saggage!!!! I'm not huge (B) but man gravity and two kids have already taken a toll.

I used to know someone like that. No matter what the subject of conversation was about, she'd eventually get around to her breasts and how huge, wonderful, sexy they were. It became a running joke among her ever-dwindling number of friends.

The first thing I do when I get home is take off my bra -- I can't stand feeling tight and bound up, even though my bras are quite comfortable. Same with nylons on the rare occasion that I wear them.

I believe more in the opposite statement, that if you wear bras 24/7 your skin and muscles come to depend on the bra for support, the skin looses elasticity from lack of air circulation and the shoulder muscles that carry the weight of your boobs weaken. They will start to sag at some point, anyway; and that woman who still has great boobs at 50 because she wears bras all the time - well, she can't have much opportunity of enjoying that anyway, can she? She has to wear a goddamn bra all the time! So what's the point?

What I mean is she's always wearing low cut dresses that show off her boobs. I'm really tired of her "Look at me, I'm so sexy" shtick,but then I'm not a guy.

Well yeah, some ppl think breast ligaments atrophy if you were a bra 24/7 but that's just a theory like the idea that a bra would keep them perky forever. I think it boils down to genetics and yo-yo dieting more than anything else (maybe how strong your pectorals are,too).
