VERY rare photo of a young Shakira in a bikini

In a recent blog, we reported that J. Lo went to great lengths in news interviews to deny she was pregnant. She even posed in a bikini for Latina magazine for their upcoming October issue.
Well, now Shakira is coming to town and in our research, we came across some out-of-print books on her early life. And in the "Shakira: Nueva diosa del rock" book, published by Planeta, we found this VERY rare photo of a young Shakira in a bikini. The occasion was Shakira's being voted "Mejor Cola de Colombia" (Best Booty of Colombia) in 1994.
Among other interesting trivia we dug up:
Her complete name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll. Shakira means "graceful or full of grace" in Arabic, and she is named after her grandmother.
Shakira was born Feb. 2, 1977, Barranquilla, Colombia, an industrial port on the northern Atlantic coast.
Her parents are Nidia del Carmen Ripoll Torrado, Colombian mother, and William Mebarak Chadid, an American born father of Lebanese descent.

What`s the big deal? It`s Shakira. So? I don`t think that was a "very rare" photo. It`s just a bad taste photo, when she was more younger

I dunno, compared to J.Lo, that booty is tiny.
She does look almost unrecognizeable to me, though. She looks better, or at least more unique now, IMO.
