    I love those Wired videos where they use experts like this. My favorite is the guy who's a linguist.

    I have a friend from the Philippines and she said that she and her family were targeted as people that lived in the US whenever they went home. Their clothes and the way that they spoke their native language were signs that they no longer lived there.

    Same thing happened to my mother when she went back to Japan to visit her family. Airport employees wouldn't speak Japanese to her even though she was speaking Japanese.

    I found that quite interesting as I’m not Eastern European (more middle heritage but not brought up there) and I *always* carry my flowers head down...
