Yes, I don't understand this thinness. Surely she's ill. Can't anyone in her family help her? You know, Karen Carpenter died right in front of her parent's home in Downey because she wouldn't eat. It's sad and horrifying at the same time, to see all these photos of Nicole Ritchie...

i thought karen died in hospital when they fed her? which is a big no-no for anorexics. the body can't handle the food ironically and the heart collapses.
her father, nicole richie has spoken about it...frankly it seems like he a) doesn't care b) has tried and can't do anything about it.
it's time she go into rehab.

Sure you can; I mean, how tall is she? Most magazines are saying they think she's around 90 lbs. Even if she's at 80lbs (5 stone 10) that gives her a BMI of 14.6 A friend's anorexia meant she got to a BMI of 14.6, and still fell pregnant and successfully carried the baby. The body can go one hell of a long time without food before it shuts down completely.

Well I've been reading more about her. Is she anorexic or is she or was she using heroin? Heroin use will make you skinny like that too. What was her rehab for exactly?
