It's nice. It's actually a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I thought that with Joe's salary as a minister and Tina not working they would be living in a more modest house.

Yeah, good question, how does one afford such a large, nice house--with a pool--on a minister's salary? Did they start pimping the girls that early?

You must remember that it isn't the best address. It is a suburb of Dallas. There are lots of places north of Dallas where you can get larger pieces of property at cut rates. Also, remember Jim and Tammy Bakker. Donations to the church are often used to bankroll "expenses"-houses or solid gold toilet fixtures...same difference...

Yeah $225,000 is pretty cheap for a house like that. It was probably way cheaper when they originally bought it.
