Not necessarily a 'new' thing, but it seems like it's the career in thing to do nowadays for female celebrities to pose in the skimpiest bikinis around a la FHM, maxim, even 'regular' mags like vogue, etc. etc. Don't get me wrong i'm no prude and love skin just as much as anyone else alive, but there comes a point where you're like, oooookaaayyyyy, is there any talent there???

One of the things that really bugs me is this trend of the past few years of remaking all of these old tv shows. And they're not even picking good shows to copy! (i.e. Dukes of Hazzard). Also the remaking of classic movies that don't need to be remade and then ruined!

ALSO (lol, alot of 'trends' bug me) when will radio and tv start playing MUSIC?! Lately, any no-name can call themselves a rapper, slap a Lil' in front of their name, and babble of bunch of nonsense to the beat of computer generated sounds. It's fucking ridiculous! People call that talent!? What happened to people that can actually write their own songs and then actually PLAY an instrument!? GAAAHAHAhaslkdfhalkhs!

A trend right now is charity work, ala Angelina Jolie.
Even poor Jessica Simpson tried to jump on the bandwagon.

Think about it: the gossip about Brad and Angelina getting together BEFORE his divorce was final was completely overshadowed by her charity work. When it was all said and done, anybody who'd dared to criticize her in print would have been tarred and feathered!

Angelina was very, very smart the way she handled everything. Not that I'm suggesting her charity work is just for show - on the contrary; I think she is very sincere.
