i love the name phinnaeus and i hate that horseface julia roberts ruined it.

i like apple, coco, and maddox doesn't bother me.
jermajesty and tu morrow are not only profoundly stupid names, they are tacky as hell too.

frank zappa's kids... well, if your dad was frank zappa, i think you know better than to wonder why you didn't get a normal, average name. the fact that none of them changed their names means they're probably alright with them. david bowie's son changed his name, i think it was originally zowie bowie or something like that. which i think was kind of cool actually.

Kal-El, Pilot Inspektor, Moxie Crimefighter, Audio Science and Jermajesty are awful. Stupid. For the sake of being weird. Moonblood is ugly, but I think Sage is nice. Destry is unusual. I think Apple, Coco, Maddox, Memphis are fine....

NICKNAMES people! That's what they're for! If you want to have your kid called something outlandish, fine, just give them a normal name that they can use as an adult and give them a nickname to suit their personality.

I don't think Maddox is a horrible name, probably wouldn't pick it for my own child. I don't even think Kal-el is a bad name either if it didn't have the Superman associations.
