Team this or that
I´m sick of hearing people say "I´m team this" or " I´m team that".
It´s like the sickenning topics on pro-choice or pro-life, as if you were obliged to 100% agree with A or B. As if everything had to be divided into good or bad, Manicheism!!!
I think going that way just spoils and limits our discussions due to some people´s obssession with this or that celebrity or subject. And then if you like celebrity A, then team A will praise you, but then if you criticize celebrity A, team A will jsut be awfully mad and you and team B will use your arguments agaisnt team A and so on... and instead of growing on a topic we jsut get stuck fighting over things that aren´t even close to being perfect. I wish the whole "team" thing would stop, but that´s just me.
Any thoughts on it?

Re: Team this or that
But it's so much easier to sell a t-shirt that says Team Jen
I don't think anyone here really feels that strongly about celebrities deep down, it's just something to discuss

Re: Team this or that
I don't really care what has happened in any celeb's relationship/marriage. I don't care for Brangelina or Jessica/Nick breakup. BUT and this is a big BUT, I hate Jennifer Aniston!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! esp cuz of Rachel in Friends and the fact that her nipples were always visible thru her shirts.

I´ll have to agree! Great way to make money.
Although, I´d only wear a t-shirt that was like:

Re: Team this or that
See, I always hated her, specially while Friends was running. The show wasn´t funny, it wasn´t even good. She´s got no talent, and she´s ugly as f***.
But you gotta feel sorry for her, I mean she married the hottest guy alive, that pumped up her career and all, and now she´s slowly being publicly put where she belongs... dating an ugly guy, doing crappy movies, finally being seen as ugly by everyone, and getting her paychecks smaller by the day... poor Jennifer.
That´s why I wouldn´t wear a Team Anniston Shirt. I feel sorry for her.
And I wouldn´t wear a Team AJ either, because even though I think she rocks, I also thing she´s a bitch.
And that´s as far as I´d go about think on team this or that, cause Nick and Chestica and everyone else are just not worth my money.
Forgot to say JA is a bitch too. And Chestica.

Re: Team this or that
^^Making a gazillion dollars per episode of friends, I doubt highly that JA will ever have to worry about another paycheck. I do agree that she isn't especially talented...

Re: Team this or that
no she doesn't.....and they said she had great comedic timing? it's not timing when you get to take 50 takes on it
and for angelina...she hasn't really been GOOD in a role since girl, interrupted.
can't we hate them both?

Uh yeah.... Team Jen, Team Nick, Team Heather, who else? Oh TEAM I Don't have any STDS!
Sorry couldn't resist. Honestly, I can see where most of them are coming from. It's just more fun to be polar than the middle of the road in a place like this.

Re: Team this or that
That also reminds me of making kids share toys and whatnot. Do we as adults share? Oh, you buy a brand new expensive car and you have to share it with me. Or you have a rich, handsome husband, you have to share him with me. It's the law. Screw that.

Not me. I'm Team Aniston but I'll still defend Brangelina's special treatment in Namibia.

So, please help me to understand. I want to make an informed choice because ours is important work.
If I am equally a member or equally not a member of either team, does that makes me bi-polar?

^^^^YES!
Screw them all: toys; whatnots; expensive cars; the rich; the handsome; the husbands; the law--always had a thing for cops. If it can be screwed, by all means screw it!
Hmmm . . . that's peculiar. I suddenly feel the need to take a sinfully long, hot, bubble bath, with a grilled peanut butter and chocolate chip sammich in one hand and an exquisite Russian River chardonnay in the other.
Must be the vulgarity.
Bliss.
