If the top one is Susan Sarandon, she is 60. If it's Sophia Loren, she's 72, officially, that is. I'd say her real age is closer to 80.
I think the bottom one is Kay Kendall. She is 80.

OK, I know you love all things French. Would the top one be Anouk Aimee, age 74 (this time I actually clicked on the pic to have a better look.)
And I think the bottom glamour queen is Fanny Ardant with a dye job, age 57.
P.S. I wrote the French part before I read your post. Plus, I thought the second one was French from the beginning but I couldn't think of a French actress with red hair!

The first one -- she's holding her chin up at an unusual angle.

Top pic is Anouk Aimee (A Man and A Woman, 8 1/2, La Dolce Vita). She's 74! I saw the Cannes photos and I thought she was so damn beautiful.
Bottom is Arielle Dombasle at Cannes age 53. She's an actress (cough). Looking a bit pulled up! She's married to Bernard-Henri Levy who wrote American Vertigo.
