"The light is calling"? You are very sweet. I like that expression.
I often say, "The poor sod's got one foot on a banana peel and the other on his grave...looks like he's about to go for his final taxi ride, and there's only one destination in the final taxi." Thanks, Mr. Wreckless.
ROFL@ Regis! I forget where I read this, but I have read that Regis Philbin is supposed to be one of the most self-absorbed and loathesome creatures on the planet, just full of himself. Until I dig up the source, and I shall try to, it's just hersay but I believe it.
I know we aren't allowed to do this, but I'll pitch in Joan Rivers. I don't want to see her pass next year, though. Her tweets are hilarious! Still, she's getting on in years.
Joe Paterno. Broke his pelvis. At his age, you just don't recover from that in the best of circumstances. He's a broken man - literally and figuratively.
Oooh wishlist!
I want at least one from each category: Kardashian, Lohan, Jackson, Palin, Duggar, and Jersey Shore cast.

Someone put Ali Lohan on the 2011 list. Wouldn't it be weird if after all these years waiting for Lindsay to OD Ali would be the one to have a heart attack and die from her anorexia.

Nah, I found a huge list of "can't believe they're still alive" and picked and chose some from there, lol. And then I added in more that I was thinking of before or that the others reminded me of. I'm always so surprised at how many fairly old (late 80s, 90+) celebs there are out there.

NOT Bob Newhart - he has to live forever.

Crikey, I just looked up Olivia de Havilland who reached her nadir in 1939's Gone With The Wind.
Born in 1916! Wow, I had no idea she was still around.
My picks at the moment:
Cesar Chavez
Fidel Castro
Hosni Mubarak
