Madeline McCann's parents hawking book

Didn't know where to post this, but last night on cable we caught a Dutch channel on which the McCann's were hawking their book, hoping the sales will raise enough money to continue the search for their daughter Madeline.
The mother especially was going on and on about how terrible the people who took her from the holiday home were, that a couple can't even have dinner without having to worry that their child may be abducted........
They showed a map on how far their bungalow was from where they had dinner and, really, the gall of that woman to even now still produce such indignation when, clearly, they should not have gone so far and leave their kids unattended, is really outrageous.

What happened to them is tragic but yeah, they brough it on themselves by leaving their kids unattended

Thants the kindest interpretation of events imaginable. Criminally negligent at the very least IMO. Personally, after the lady in the adjoining apartment testified that Maddie had screamed for her father until 11:45 the night before, I think each parent gave her a little something, maybe a touch extra, to make her sleep and caused an accidental OD. I followed this case closely at the time as I have the Caylee Anthony case.

At first I read the title as "cooking book" and I thought now that's tacky. This is still tacky, and also deluded if they think people will sympathise with their whole "leave your kids unattended" rights movement.

Agree. This is exactly what happened IMO.
