Default Susan Saint James

I remember seeing on the news that her son and I thought her husband had died in a plane crash. I could have sworn her husband died also, but I see he will be on Oprah.
Looks like it will be a real tear-jerker.

Her husband was seriously injured in the accident but not killed.

I'm also watching.

I remember Susan St. James when she was on 'Kate & Allie' like 20 years ago.

It's sad, but I'm happy for them that they haven't succumbed to bitterness and haven't isolated themselves from each other. Her oldest two sons are very attractive guys, btw.

I also loved her in "McMillan & Wife" with Rock Hudson, and she's in one of my fave movies with George Hamilton, a spoof on Dracula "Love At First Bite".

^LOL, I have yet to see his spoof on Zorro. I missed it way back when it was released. Another hilarious one

She always seemed like such a nice, 'real' person. I liked her on SNL (she hosted a bunch of times) and Kate & Ally.....
I didn't catch Oprah, but I hope she's doing well. Must have been an extremely difficult year for her and her family.....

One of my fave scenes is at the restaurant, where her character is dining with the count (and really model like DOESN'T eat ) and Von Helsing's grandson appears (Richard Benjamin in a hilarious role) to prove Hamilton is Dracula>

"You are getting very sleepy..."
"No, YOU are getting very sleepy...."
"No, YOU are getting very sleepy...."

And Hamilton's remark to Renfield, his aide.
"Go away, you myopic dwarf!" is sooooo funny.

Unhappy Re: Susan Saint James

It was sad

But, I thought she looked pretty.

She did not have a butchered face.
She looked normal.
