Just like "regular size" models are smaller than "regular size" women, maybe?

whilst i'm glad that there isn't an attached skinny bashing article, i don't understand why there can't be a mix of women of different sizes...

yeah, just mix it and show some diversity. that would be the next step.
thin, normal, plus sizes, black, white and mixed all together in one issue.

not a seperate black edition, a separate plus size edition..

They're beautiful but... honestly, what's the point of trying to bare it all? Aren't models supposed to be wearing clothes on?

Yup, exactly the same idea. Fashion is fucked sizewise all the way across the board.

LB ran an experiment a couple years ago where they ran a set of coupons with their regular sized models and a set with a model who was actually a size 18/20 (the most popular size for the company). They received a much higher number of coupons back with the model size they usually use, so decided not to go with models who are actually the size of their customers.

    Hmmm, interesting.

I understand that models are preferred thin so that emphasis is placed on the clothes, but wouldn't a plus-size model give a plus-size woman, however larger, a better idea of what she'd look like in the clothes?

mmmmh, they all look so yummy-tummy. I would invite them all over for an overnight party at my house.

You know they need to stop putting women into two different categories. Instead of "plus size" over here and "regular" over there, just mix them all together.

Also the cottage cheese ass on that woman should have been photoshopped.

HUH? I so beg to defer! Most women do look like this. A good majority of us look like this...healthy.
