^^Even though she looks youthful, there's something creepy about a 60+ year old woman looking 30. Priscilla Presley is another one. Especially in the entertainment industry, I can understand being insecure about getting older but could Cher's and Priscilla's faces advertise their insecurities any more? At some point, it just makes sense to age gracefully. I look very young for my age but I realize that I'm going to look stupid if I still look like I'm in my 20s when I'm 50. There are some things in life that you just have to accept. Aging is one of them. I think Meryl has.

But Priscilla looks all drawn & trout mouthy. Cher really doesn't.

The woman can act AND she's beautiful too. Doesn't happen often in Hollywood.

I haven't seen that. I've only seen what I've seen and I never liked the character she played. Thats why I said what I said. I certainly haven't seen all her movies, but the ones I have seen didn't help me warm to her.

Just the devil wears prada, mamma mia (I found it so corny so all the characters did nothing for me.) but the most memorable was Rendition. Her character was such a cruel cold bitch. I can't see past it now. And I know it's JUST A ROLE, but i know alot of people who feel that way about actors. Once an asshole, always an asshole. Actors have even said they take a risk when they play the bad guy. She's a good actress, i just don't like her.

I'll have to watch any of those, and get the rotten roles out of my head. Thanks for the list.

I don't think she's pretty, but she looks good. She's classy.

Me too. Meryl Streep was never a classic beauty, even back in her Deer Hunter days. I'm glad she never messed with her face--it's one of the things always made her unique and interesting. Of course, being a great actress didn't hurt either.

She's not a classic beauty but her face is memorable and that's even better. She oozes intelligence and class.
