Things I learned from this photoshoot:

1) Naomi Watts, Charlize Theron and Scarlett Johansson all look way more like Grace Kelly than Gwyneth Paltrow. Grace Kelly is still of course prettier and more fascinating than all of them.

2) Emile Hirsch and James Mcavoy together= two times the adorable wee little actor fun. That picture filled me with glee.

3)Renee Zellweger is actually capable of opening her eyes but it looks like she's straining some serious muscles to do it.

4) Vanity Fair is running out of ideas.

i disagree. i think gwyneth is the most similar to grace - blonde, delicate features, very pretty but not particularly interesting. whereas scarlett and naomi have a more earthy quality about them and are far more fascinating and expressive on screen.

Really? I honestly don't see it, especially not in the picture here, where she is ostensibly trying to be like Grace. Grace definitely had the "ice queen" thing going but I always thought there was always sort of an extra edge about her, like she *just might* do something really shocking.

IMO, GP tries to package herself like Grace, but her features are absolutely lumpen and homely in comparison. She also doesn't bring much of anything to the screen, unless you count slouching around with a wan look on her face. It was off-putting for me to see her in the shoot because all I could think about was how smug "Gwynnie" would be about being a supposed Grace successor. I think she seriously believes her own PR in that regard.

i think this is great idea for photo shoot ,nioami watts looks the best imo and gwen paltrow looks silly ,whos that in last pic in shower and i dont see renee z either

Facially, I think Gwyneth is the most similar to Grace Kelly (it's in the mouth) but she still doesn't look much like her. Charlise Theron as Tippi Hedren (Marni) looks stunning but I still think Tippi was the most gorgeous original Hitchcock ice princess.

I find Charlize Theron to be more attractive than Grace Kelly. I've always thought Grace was average looking.

I DIDN'T recognize Renée Zellweger!!! No way!!!
And I don't like the one with Jodie Foster, I think she doesn't really look like she's afraid...
But I love this shoot, very interesting. I don't know the woman in the psycho shoot, but I think she looks very beautiful!
