I've never thought she was this ravishing beauty. With the right hair and makeup she can transform herself into something attractive, but to me she's never been a 'natural' beauty, much less stunning. Before she hit it 'big' (prior to making the Selena movie), Jennifer was rather plain. Money (and being able to afford the best wardrobe consultants and stylists) really helped her get that whole "J.LO" or "Hollywood" look.
Fake tan, straightened hair, highlights, possible plastic surgery, etc...she is an illusion. She looks nothing like she used to look NOW, compared to when she first started out in the business.

Not overly keen on the hair but other than that I think she looks stunning, I love her dress, it really accentuates her best features. I love me some Jlo! I think these are a bit more recent that late '90s, she looks quite a bit older than she did then.
