I have to agree she sounds like a dolt when she speaks.
Maybe she's nervous in public situations, but if she's going to be in the public eye, she should really work on it. It does nothing for her image to talk like she's got a 40 IQ.

Remember how 'new' this is to her though. I mean to go from an American Idol reject to Oscar nominee and the next greatest thing in the world has to be completely overwhelming.

True. I cringed for her during her Golden Globes speech, though. It was just so awkward.
I don't know, some people find that cute and endearing, but it makes me embarrassed for them.

I hate to hear that she's getting a huge head and becoming a serious diva, but honestly, with all the praise she is getting and everyone telling her how awesome she is, how could she NOT??? Human nature....

I completely agree. I mean, watching her on Leno the other night was horrible as well. I felt like she was analyzing every word before she said it. I wonder how long before she dumps that bf of hers.
